If you see a man on ESPN from Monday to Saturday wearing a Lebron James jersey after a Lakers win with a goat head on then, it is probably Shannon Sharpe. Shannon Sharpe is one of my favorite sports announcers to watch every day. There is not a day that I do not watch “ Undisputed” with Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe. What I like most about how Shannon Sharpe presents new sports news is the realness he brings to the show and also his personality, which makes the show so great and entertaining to watch. My favorite Undisputed episode was when the Cowboys had another devastating loss, and Shannon Sharpe was clowning Skip on his cowboys and how they should pack their bags up and prepare for next season.
Shannon Sharpe is a former NFL player. He was a tight end for twelve years for the Denver Broncos and two for the Baltimore Ravens. He won three Super Bowls, and he also finished his career as the NFL’s all-time leader in receptions with 815 receptions, 10,060 receiving yards, and sixty-two receiving touchdowns by a tight end. Shannon Sharpe was the first tight end to amass over 10,000 receiving yards. He has been named the First Team of the NFL’s All-Decade Team of the 1990s.
Sharpe was once a commentator for CBS Sports pregame show The NFL Today, an also including the Sprint Halftime Report, and he also did the Subway Postgame Show. He also hosts an NFL radio station called “ Sirius NFL Radio.” Shannon also is a social media staple. You can typically find him going viral for his on-air antics and sports commentary. He has many memes that you will see on twitter. He also appeared once on an American Dad episode, which he was portraying himself. In my opinion, Shannon Sharpe is one of the most iconic sports announcers ever!
